WinterSong Songwriter Workshop to be held in Chattanooga February 19th.

WinterSong 2011 will offer songwriters and songwriters to be, the opportunity to network, hone their craft and receive feedback from experienced professional songwriters. Workshop instructors include Louisa Branscomb, Kathy Reed, and Earl Brackin. The topics addressed in this workshop will cover the art and craft of songwriting, business aspects of songwriting, and creative exercises. Participants will also have an opportunity to receive feedback on their compositions.

In addition to the songwriter workshop, there will be concerts by area songwriters at 7:00 p.m. Performers include Louisa Branscomb, whose Grammy cut, Steel Rails, is the longest running #1 song on the bluegrass charts, Atlanta singer/song writer Kathy Reed, as well as Earl Brackin, and many others. WinterSong 2011 will be held at the Barking LegsTheater, in Chattanooga, Tennessee on Saturday February 19, 2011, from 10:00 – 4:00 p.m. Barking Legs Theater is located at 1307 Dodds Avenue in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The cost of the WinterSong Workshop is $55.00 per participant, $45.00 to members of SEBA, NSAI, and the Bluegrass Songwriters Association.
