DAILEY & VINCENT FIDDLE PLAYER, JESSE STOCKMAN, TEMPORARILY SIDELINED WITH WRIST INJURY
NASHVILLE, TENN. (July 19, 2011)—Sawing on a fiddle every day, while bringing joy to the soul, is not without its physical risks. Dailey & Vincent’s fiddler Jesse Stockman (pictured above at left) is currently under doctor’s orders to take a temporary break from all playing, the result of aggravating a previous wrist injury through overuse.
“I’m so disappointed that I can’t be getting on that bus and hitting the stage every night,” said Stockman, “but the best way to get back out there is to listen to my doctor and take it easy for now.”
“Jesse has been such an important part of the band since the very beginning,” said Jamie Dailey. “We’re going to miss him while he’s healing, but we know that it’s what’s best for him.”
“We ask for everyone’s prayers for Jesse’s quick recovery so that he’ll be back out with us soon,” said Darrin Vincent. “In the meantime, B. J. Cherryholmes will be filling in on fiddle, and we’re thankful that he was willing and available to help us out.”
Dailey & Vincent will headline Bluegrass Nights at the Ryman with Joe Mullins & the Radio Ramblers on Thursday, July 21. For additional news and tour updates, visit www.daileyvincent.com.
