music workshops!
This year we're proud to present Marshall Wilborn and Casey Henry of the Gooseneck Rockers as our workshop instructors! For our first-ever bass workshop, we figured, "Why not bring in the best?" Marshall is the current and four-time IBMA "Bass Player of the Year" and you can hear why in this "up close and personal" session. Banjo instructor extraordinaire Casey Henry will present her "Murphy Method" (by ear, no tablature) approach to the five-string for players of all levels. Learn how she gets her great tone and timing. Also, guitar rhythm-master Tom Adams will be ably assisting in both workshops. Big thanks to these three masters for sharing their knowledge!
1:00 - 1:45 | "Bluegrass Bass" with Marshall Wilborn |
1:45 - 2:30 | "Bluegrass Banjo" with Casey Henry |
Workshops are held in the AIR CONDITIONED fire house dining hall, are open to both players and fans, and are FREE with your weekend or Saturday ticket.
