Dailey & Vincent put on outstanding show in Frostburg, MD

Brenda & I had the opportunity to attend the Dailey & Vincent concert in Frostburg, MD this past Saturday evening.

Before the show, we had the pleasure of meeting up with several good friends including the creator of this blog, John Trout and his wife Darlene.

The show was well attended (read sold out) and the Palace Theatre has great acoustics that complimented the excellent job done by Daily & Vincent's sound crew.

The evening opened with regional band, Black Diamond. The guys did an outstanding job. They were limited to about 25 minutes of music and it would have been nice to have seen a little more from them.

After a brief intermission, D&V hit the stage and continued to entertain for the next two hours. I had never attended a D&V concert live and I was not disappointed. These guys and their band are at the very top of their game. There is no question as to why they are heralded as one of bluegrass music's premier, top level bands.

The harmony was impeccable, the musicianship flawless, and the entertainment factor was through the roof.

If you ever get the opportunity to attend one of their concerts, please do so... you wont regret it.

Brenda's birthday is today (November 15) so this concert was part of her gift. While these photos were taken with my cell phone, in less than ideal lighting, I think the picture shows she had a great time.
