2009 IBMA Awards Nominees In Six Categories Perform Special Show
A "Special Saturday WDVX Blue Plate Special" will feature an appearance by nationally acclaimed Michael Cleveland & Flamekeeper on Saturday, August 15, 2009 when the popular radio show is broadcast before a live audience and hosted by The Pottery House Cafe & Grill at the Old Mill Square in Pigeon Forge, TN.The International Bluegrass Music Association's (IBMA) 2-Time Instrumental Group of the Year, Michael Cleveland & Flamekeeper, led by 6-time IBMA Fiddle Player of the Year Michael Cleveland and consisting of Tom Adams on guitar and vocals, Jesse Brock on mandolin and vocals, Jessie Baker on banjo and vocals and bluegrass legend Marshall Wilborn on bass and vocals, unites bluegrass veterans with exciting younger musicians to create a fresh sound with deep bluegrass roots.
