Nothin' Fancy Performs Benefit Concert for Habitat For Humanity

Nothin' Fancy will be performing a special benefit concert for the Rockbridge Area Habitat For Humanity on June 27th. The concert will take place at Theater at Lime Kiln in Lexington, VA starting at 7:30pm. Rockbridge Area Habitat For Humanity is a locally run affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing organization. Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with people in need to build and renovate decent, affordable housing. The houses then are sold to those in need at no profit and with no interest charged. Volunteers provide most of the labor, and individual and corporate donors provide money and materials to build Habitat houses. Partner families themselves invest hundreds of hours of labor - "sweat equity" - into building their homes and the homes of others. Their mortgage payments go into a revolving Fund for Humanity that is used to build more houses.

Tickets for the concert are $22/advance or $25/door. Senior adult (60+) and student tickets are $20/advance and $22/door and children 10 and under get in free.

A very special "Pre-Concert Dinner" is also available to a limited number of guests. Tickets are $100 per person and include champagne and wine, a catered meal by The Southern Inn, conversation with members of Nothin' Fancy, a reserved seat ticket to the Nothin' Fancy concert and a $50 tax deductible donation to Rockbridge Area Habitat For Humanity. Reservations are required for the dinner and can be made by emailing  habitat@rockbridge.net or calling 540-463-3770.
