I have been asked many times how I manage to produce Traditional Ties while traveling in my RV. I thought pictures and a few words here would be the best way to explain the process.
I use the most compact equipment I could find, so that I can stow it away when not in use. I start with two personal CD players with wired remote control, a very old analog two channel mixer (long out of date but it works fine.) I record a wav file onto my laptop using the AVS Audio Editor (formerly named Audacity,) it's a free download. Add a microphone and document holder and I'm ready to go. I then burn the CDs and mail them off to WYEP.
When park power in not available I use a generator for electricity.
