Celebrating #5 and #6
Michael Cleveland & Flamekeeper are celebrating the recent news that their debut Rounder release, Leavin' Town, is #5 on the National Bluegrass Survey's Top 15 Bluegrass Albums chart. And if that weren't reason enough to celebrate, the title cut from the CD is #6 on the survey's Top 30 Bluegrass Singles chart. Flamekeeper on WSM at the Country Music Hall of Fame
WSM 650 AM will host a special interview with Michael Cleveland & Flamekeeper at the Country Music Hall of Fame on Friday, June 5th. The interview with WSM's Bill Cody will take place at the Ford Theater and is free to the public. The interview, which will include a short performance, will begin at approximately 9:00am. For those who can't make it in person, you may also listen online. The band will perform later that night beginning at 9:00pm at the Station Inn, and will travel to McMinnville, TN on Saturday, June 6th to perform along with Cherryholmes at Bluegrass Underground starting at 2:00pm central.
Bluegrass Nights At The Ryman
The very popular "Bluegrass Nights At The Ryman" concert series will kick off this month on June 25th with Michael Cleveland & Flamekeeper and Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver. The concert begins at 7:30pm and tickets can can be purchased online or by calling the Ryman Box Office at (615) 889-3060.
