Sound Reinforcement, Soaring Eagle Productions

I have posted frequently about this coming weekend's Laural Highlands Bluegrass Festival even listing bios on all the bands.

But I almost overlooked one of the most important elements of any Bluegrass festival, the sound reinforcement. A good sound company can make a good band sound great, a poor sound company can make a great band sound bad.

Fortunately LHBF, and last week's Mountain Vista festival both use one of the best in the business, Soaring Eagle Productions of Bedford Pa, with Ginger, Don and Steve at the controls and doing quick changeovers, sound is not a concern, it is always great.

Included in this post is a photo of Ginger, the obvious choice, working the board at MVBF, last Saturday. No feedback the entire weekend.

I just want to say how enjoyable it is to have great sound. Soaring Eagle Productions certainly provides some of the best. As a member of Poverty Hollow. I can say we were very pleased with their work. They know bluegrass and you couldn't ask for a friendlier more accommodating crew. Pam Mulhollem
