It's hard to find a vocal group that can leave the Statler Brothers in awe. But bluegrass act Dailey & Vincent has done it, oddly and pleasingly enough on a new album called Dailey & Vincent Sing The Statler Brothers.
"They caught every trick we ever used," said Harold Reid, who joined Statler Brothers Don Reid, Phil Balsley and Jimmy Fortune Wednesday afternoon at the Country Music Hall of Fame for a celebration of the new album. "I mean, every little thing. And they either used it or improved on it."
The new 12-song album is available exclusively at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store and at http://www.crackerbarrel.com/, released through a collaboration between Cracker Barrel and Rounder Records. Readm more.
