We have just received the sad news that Bluegrass Now, will cease publication with the December 2008, issue.
A spin-off of a radio program newsletter, Bluegrass Now's first issue was December 1990, it became an on-line only magazine in May of this year. It has been a forward looking publication with special attention payed to the youth and women of bluegrass music.
As a subscriber since issue number two, I view this as a personal loss. I was privileged to contribute to the monthly "Gospel Truths" chart from it's inception, and was an occasional contributor to "DJ Hot Picks."
Our best wishes to founders Wayne and Deb Bledsoe in their stated wishes to "spend more time with family, especially the grand children." I know their bluegrass family will never be far from their hearts.
Wayne will continue with his three weekly radio shows, as well as emcee at select events.
