A New Way to Support Public Radio

Radio station WYEP FM, Pittsburgh PA has announced an affiliation with Amazon.com. Simply by accessing Amazon through http://www.wyep.org/store, any purchase made results in a commission being paid to WYEP. The WYEP site lists many CDs including the Bluegrass top ten from The Year in Review. The top ten CDs are selected by Bruce Mountjoy from The Bluegrass Jam Session, and my picks from Traditional Ties.

But the secret to this site is SEARCH, almost any CD currently being marketed is available. The site is not limited to music however, any product purchased from Amazon generates a commission, as along as it is accessed through http://www.wyep/store.

Membership is still the most direct way to support public radio, but this is a painless way to give more, through purchases you would be making anyway.

If you are not from the Pittsburgh area many other public stations offer the program, if yours doesen't please use http://www.wyep.org/store.

Support the station that supports Bluegrass Music.
