WYEP will be participating in the Pittsburgh Foundation/PittsburghGives Match Day, a one-day only event where all donations (minimum of $50) made at PittsburghGives.org will be matched $0.50 to the dollar. Your donation of $50 becomes a $75 gift to WYEP. Able to donate more? Your donation of $500 brings WYEP an additional $250 in support.
What are the minimum/maximum amount I can donate?
The minimum amount is $50. Donations of up to $2,500 will be matched.
How long does this match last?
The 50% matching begins at 10am on October 28 and lasts only as long as the $300,000 allocated to the participating non-profits is still available. This is expected to go rather quickly, so it's essential to make your donation as soon as you can, starting at 10am on Wednesday.
How do I make my donation?
In order to speed up your donation process on the 28th, it's recommended that you set up an individual donor account ahead of time at PittsburghGives.org.
Each participating non-profit has their own unique profile page at PittsburghGives.org, with a Donate Now button in the top right hand corner. On the 28th at 10am, go to the WYEP page at http://pittsburghgives.guidestar.org/NonprofitProfile.aspx?OrgId=3041 or, search for 'Pittsburgh Community Broadcasting' from the PittsburghGives homepage.
